Job Description:
Under the Director of Programs, the Supervisor is responsible
for the supervision of the delivery of clinical services in
assigned program in accordance to program guidelines.Job Duties
Include:Reviews intake information of clients referred for services
and determines if the referral will be acceptedOversees case
responsibilities and provides guidance in case planningStaffs all
cases with appropriate staff weeklyProvides supervision to
professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic approaches
with clientsReviews all written documents generated by staffAttends
court hearings, case reviews, staffing, and meetings as
neededReviews funding source policies and procedures and trains
staff on the implementation of these proceduresWorks with staff to
ensure permanency for clientsEnsures that the required documents
are in case fileEnsures that staff handles unusual incidents in a
prompt and effective mannerParticipates in various collateral and
community groups to promote agency programs and to network with the
communityCompletes various outcome reports as requiredParticipates
in required meeting and trainings with funding sourceProvides staff
with training, education, and ongoing supervision and
supportMonitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with
budgetary constraintsEnsures adherence to contractual obligations
with the funding sourceEnsures billing accuracy and timeliness;
completes billing procedures for private contracts when
necessaryHandles client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral
complaints and grievancesConducts regular unit meetings with
staffParticipates in public speaking engagements to promote agency
programs and market our servicesParticipates in agency management
meetings and work groupsAssists CQI in the development of agency
documentation to enhance programming and to meet the requirements
of the funding source policies and proceduresWorks with CQI to
ensure quality of service and the achievement of program outcome
goalsProvides direct service to children and families in the
absence of assigned staffManages a 24-hour response system, which
may be for referral intake and/or client emergenciesManages case
assignments to ensure an equal distribution of cases and to
maintain the appropriate staff-to-client ratios as outlined by the
funding sourceEnsures adequate client contact is maintained in
accordance with specific program guidelines and the minimum
required contact hours are achieved each monthEnsures staff at all
levels are closely monitoring child and client safety and are
appropriately responsive to any situation posing a risk to, or by,
a clientCompletes and submits performance appraisals in a timely
mannerPerforms other related duties as
assignedQualificationsEducationMSW/MA Degree requiredExperience3
years of progressive responsibility related to social services and
clinical license or 5 years of progressive responsibility related
to social services requiredOtherLCSW, LCPC, or LMFT requiredAuto
