Job Description:
Basic Purpose
Consults with R1 and client teams to obtain necessary information
to successfully build and test common real-time interfaces and
build and test one-time data loads utilizing R1 Orion Rhapsody
interface engine and R1 interface software layer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Consults with clients to gather information about program needs,
objectives, functions, features, and data requirements relevant to
the R1 product implementation and specifically to the interfaces
needed for the project.
Manages on-time and competent delivery of real time interfaces and
data loads.
Builds/codes common integration paths on R1'sinterface engine to
deliver interfaces in a timely manner, working with their project
team to collaboratively and successfully implement R1 products.
This also includes configuration and usage of SCI's interface
layer. Advises client on alternate methods of solving need or
problem or recommends specific solutions using the interface
engine.
Submit all interface changes in compliance with R1's Integration QA
Process as well as performing QA checks for other team members.
Manage interface error messages during projects, including the
identification of errors and resolution of them throughout the
project; also includes training the client to understand how to
manage the messages such that upon Go Live, the ICE error log is
clean, and the client understands how to manage going forward.
Writes and maintains client's project specific technical mapping
specifications and insures those specifications are updated and
accessible by R1 and client in R1's Salesforce system. These
mapping specifications are important for reference by our clients
and the R1 Client Success team.
Evaluate test transactions and executes tests to find errors and
confirm interfaces meet specifications. This is done by proactively
leading interface testing meetings and unit testing all fields
identified in the project specific mapping specification to ensure
that data is populating in R1 as expected as well as being sent out
of the R1 system and posting in foreign system that the interface
is connected to.
Proactively lead integration meetings, including interface
design/specification and interface testing (on site and
remote).
Maintains accurate client and non-client time reporting in
Salesforce.
Communicates regularly weekly updates to the R1 project manager and
client
Identifies and communicates client issues, concerns and risks to
the project manager as soon as the issue or potential risk are
identified.
Participates enthusiastically in company training and actively
seeks to understand the challenges and needs in the health care
industry, particularly in the patient access arena.
Skills Required

utilizing interface engine tools, includes some basic coding in
JavaScript, C++ like proprietary language (Orion Rhapsody mapper
code), and basic SQL queries.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree; and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare
provider and/or technology experience is necessary. Orion Rhapsody
Associate level certification or equivalent education
completed.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of Orion Rhapsody or other interface engine software.
Basic programming skills in JavaScript, C++, SQL or similar
languages. Advanced Knowledge of healthcare data exchange,
including HL7, X12, flat files, XML.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to travel +50% of the time.
