What you will doWorks closely with the Manager of Research and
Evaluation and the Quality Supports Team to update, develop, and
facilitate new and existing professional learning experiences.
Delivers local and national training virtually and in-person.
Serves as a National Anchor for the Program Administration Scale
(PAS) and Business Administration Scale for Family Child Care (BAS)
and reviews PAS and BAS assessments for certification and
recertification. Assists in the development and review of online
surveys, training needs assessments, and Administrator Role
Perception Survey (ARPS) profiles
OutcomesEssential Responsibilities:
PROFESSIONAL LEARNING TRAINING LOGISTICS: Assist with preparation
of training materials for on-site trainings and shipments for
off-site trainings. Coordinate material organization and room
set-up for PAS and BAS trainings when facilitating. Assist with PAS
and BAS on-site and off-site logistics when presenting. Develops
and maintains data collection tools and gathers data for funders,
McCormick Center, and team reports.
TRAINING DEVELOPMENT, FACILITATION, AND MARKETING: Serve as a
content expert in the PAS and BAS and achieve status as a National
Anchor on both tools. Work with team members to develop and update
professional learning experiences (e.g., in-person and virtual
training, online modules, webinars, blended learning, follow-up
supports, handouts, eResources). Serve as one of the primary
trainers for PAS and BAS reliability. Assist in the creation of
activities, materials, assignments, surveys, etc. to support
participant learning. Facilitate and co-facilitate PAS and BAS
trainings and assist with other trainings as necessary. Create
sample documentation for PAS and BAS activities (e.g., transcripts,
handouts) as needed. Participate in training video development
(e.g., talent, organizing, transcribing, viewing). Collaborate with
the Professional Learning Team to support trainings, coaching, and
data collection as needed. Work with Instructional Design/Marketing
Team to develop and revise materials and plan for recruitment
efforts. With Quality Supports Team, develop and review publication
materials (e.g., brochures, Web site).
PAS AND BAS ASSESSOR CERTIFICATION AND RECERTIFICATION: Maintain
reliability and status as a National Anchor on the PAS and BAS.
Complete at least two PAS and BAS formal assessments for
reliability a year. Conduct additional PAS and BAS assessments as
needed (e.g., academy participants, reliability checks). Assist in
training new team members to reliability (e.g., feedback on
assessments, visits). With PAS-BAS committee, review and clarify
indicators, update notes, determine ratings, etc. With Quality
Supports Team, create the recertification process for the 3rd
edition of the PAS. Work with the Quality Supports team to update
PAS and BAS related materials and trainings (in-person, Getting
Ready Modules, etc.) that reflect the latest editions of the tools.
Review and correct PAS and BAS certification assessments and
complete feedback forms. Reviews and updates PAS and BAS databases
as needed.
GENERAL OFFICE SUPPORT: Help keep common areas clean and tidy. Keep
McCormick Center calendar current. Represent the McCormick Center
in a professional and ethical manner and assist with other duties
as assigned.

inaccuracies.
