This role is part of the Wave6 Salesforce TCRM team. Wave6 is one of the pioneer partners recognized by Salesforce as a leader in this exciting space. Skills around various big data, analytics and data visualization technologies such as Salesforce TCRM, Tableau, Einstein Prediction Builder, Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra, and MongoDB are preferred. The role will include strong interaction with Sales and the Analytics Strategy teams.Key Responsibilities:Solution lead for customer project implementationsBecome a recognized Salesforce Tableau CRM expertServe as a trusted advisor, leading conversations with our customers' architects, analysts and business users armed with best practices for analyticsAdvise and support diverse teams, which include customer, partner and internal resources in technical and functional delivery aspectsDevelop and provide guidance on implementation best practicesReview and correct project direction, approach and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extensible and maintainable going forwardDeliver technical implementation of customer projectsWave6 projects require moderate travel from time to time with a healthy balance of remote and onsite client interaction. Anticipate a maximum of 25% travel over the course of a year.Preferred Location:Midwest but open to candidates across USA and Canada as most client work is in the U.S. or Canada.MUST HAVE SKILLS:5 or more years extensive enterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with one or more BI solutions, filling positions of increasing responsibilityThorough understanding of the fundamentals of analytics Familiarity with traditional BI and discovery tools (OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik etc.)Strong skillset in front end development (JQuery, JavaScript, CoffeeScript)Hands-on experience with shell scripting, Python or JavaHands-on experience in analyzing data, identifying trends and building visualizationsExperience with data modeling, logical schema design and data warehouse concepts including techniques for handling semi-structured and unstructured dataExperience with Agile implementation methodologiesPREFERRED SKILLS:Familiarity with Salesforce.com's technical stack - APIs, Custom Objects, APEX etcSalesforce TableauCRM AccreditationsSalesforce Senior DEV certificationsExperience with ETL tools (Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, MS SSIS)Experience with Search engines (Solr, HP Autonomy, Oracle Endeca, MS FAST Sharepoint etc.) and/or NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MarkLogic, MongDB, CouchDB, HBase etc.)Experience with latest trends in the Hadoop product stack particularly Apache PigExperience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, and master data management.PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:A particular desire to continually study new technologies and functionality, as well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologiesStrong communication skills, both written and verbal including the ability to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience and evangelize best practicesStrong presentation skills including the ability to effectively present and defend point of view to a variety of audiencesAbility to work independently and be a self-starterWave6, an Emtec Company, is an Equal Opportunity EmployerUS/Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in the US/Canada are encouraged to apply
