This role will be responsible for supporting the functions and needs of General Affairs at this office in a combination office and warehouse environment. Primary physical responsibilities in this role will include distribution of mail throughout the building, general maintenance and upkeep, assistance with shipping/receiving and other duties. Office/clerical duties will including general reporting, coverage for reception and other duties as assigned.This role is considered essential and will be fully in-office each day. There is no remote or hybrid option for this position. Responsibilities- Supports the General Affairs department by assisting with Reception/Admin, Mailroom, Facilities and Security functions.- Greets visitors and answers and routes calls. Responds to internal and external inquiries.- Performs clerical task such as data entry, telephone support and filing.- Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail.- Performs light general maintenance services and repairs to buildings, furnishings and grounds which may include replacing lights, spot cleaning, installing office furniture and accessories.- Directs external and internal visitors and guest at the Security desk as needed.- Monitors the facility, the security cameras and responds to general inquires and incidents. Brings together several facets of operations to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
