Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE The Global
Competitive Intelligence and Market Analytics Lead will be
responsible for providing strategic business analysis and insights
derived from a hybrid mix of competitive intelligence (CI) and
primary market research (PMR) within the Plasma Derived Therapies
(PDT) Franchise. The focus of this position is to provide an
in-depth understanding of the business unit''s key business
questions and competitive intelligence needs around global plasma
collections, then provide analysis to drive current and future
strategic decision making. The position requires competence and
experience with competences in market analysis and research,
competitive monitoring, and secondary analytics to drive
insight-driven decision making. ACCOUNTABILITIES Program Management
& Execution (70%) Manage a comprehensive Competitive Inteligence
prorgram that provides ongoing competitor assessments; business
need understanding; knowledge gap identification; primary and/or
secondary CI to fill prioritized gaps; monitoring system with early
warning of opportunities and threats; use outputs informing
strategic and tactical planning for decision making. Innovate to
bring program to "World Class" through interactive datasets,
predictive analytics, and visualizations. Analyze, interpret and
provide relevant business context of competitive information
including, but not limited to promotional activity, news releases,
earnings calls, etc.to enable decision-making by utilizing
systematic processes to gather competitive information that is
relevant to the business. Use of various industry competitive
analysis techniques throughout program. Work collaboratively within
the organization to execute timely assessments and gathering of
competitor information, activities, performance, market
positioning, and key market shaping events; Develop and implement
program requirements as defined by Key Intelligence Topics &
Questions (KITs/KIQs) that are formalized; Utilize analytical
frameworks to support key competitive understandings, situational
analyses and simulations. Work with functions to develop, plan, and
manage all program communications to stakeholders at all levels of
the organization. Analysis and Modelling (30%) Responsible for
researching and managing external data sources that can build
business models within business intelligence tools that support
business initiatives. Define and articulate business rules required
for data accuracy and consistency; Familiar with data warehousing
and relational databases. Develop & manage reports, business tools
and solutions that facilitate consistency and accountability across
functions and geographic regions. Support projects across business
unit functions through the development of well-defined measurement
standards and supporting data analysis; Build control plans and
processes to drive long term project sustainability; Utilize
technical platforms to create reports that pull data from multiple
sources as needed. DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS Technical/Functional
(Line) Expertise Proven track record with expertise through
competitive intelligence industry disciplines, strong analytical,
problem solving, consultation, facilitation, and leadership skills.
Expert at "Seeing the big picture" and identifying key elements
that underpin critical business decisions. Familiarity with program
management tools and GMP, FDA/EMEA guidelines. Leadership
Successful leadership skills across varied projects and teams; and
history of leading strategic initiatives and special projects.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, high degree of
business acumen and the ability to lead and communicate in a clear
and concise manner with all levels of the organization. Comfortable
with ambiguity and excellent at influencing without authority.
Self-motivated and self-directed; Able to rapidly resolve conflicts
while ensuring buy-in from stakeholders. Decision-making and
Autonomy Able to both detect and rapidly adapt to changes in the
business and operating environment. Ability to articulate program
information and provide decision options to Senior Leaders or
project teams to drive solutions. Drives consensus on a path
forward when there are ambiguous or conflicting viewpoints. Able to

priorities in a changing environment. Prioritizes individual
responsibilities to ensure organization and team meets deliverable

collectively with global cross functional teams as well as current
and potential external industry third parties, customers, partners,
and vendors. Follow company and industry standards to ensure legal
and ethical approaches to Competitive Intelligence, protecting
business interests and confidentiality. Innovation Demonstrated

the operation. Must be self-motivated and self-directed and be able
to work in an ever-changing environment. On occasion the incumbent
may work in/visit a plasma collection center or test laboratory
where potential exists for exposure to biohazardous blood or plasma
Complexity Manage complex organization changes requiring balancing
transformation of mindsets, behaviors, technologies, operating
mechanisms, processes, and methodologies EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Essential: Bachelor''s degree with a
minimum of 5-7 years of previous competitive intelligence work
experience in relateable healthcare or multi-unit industry, and/or
a strategic consulting firm. Proven track record and experience in
primary market research and competitive intelligence, program
management, strong analytical and problem solving, consultation,
facilitation and leadership skills. Experience in use of online
data sources and medical/scientific/market databases (e.g.,
Alphasense, Thomson Reuters/Refinitiv, Pubmed). Willingness and
ability to work hands-on and with a sense of urgency, in a
fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment Demonstrated
effectiveness as liaison to business partners, must understand the
cultural, regional, and regulatory variation across the global
footprint to execute change management Preferred: Experience in
plasma collection or relatable pharmaceutical / biotech / medical /
multi-unit industries. MBA is a plus ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Ensure
