Apply now!Data Scientist - AI/ML at SAP FieldglassAs a Data Scientist at SAP Fieldglass, you will have the opportunity to work across various areas such as customer projects, development, or research. In customer projects, you will play a significant role in executing mathematical modeling, developing algorithms, and data mining workflows to solve business problems, collaborating closely with other industry and technology experts. In development, you will be responsible for creating prototypes, collaborating with engineering and product management teams, and ensuring high quality and performance. When working on research projects, you will lead or contribute to the latest research in AI/ML and its application to strengthen SAP's offerings. Candidates should be local to Chicago or Naperville IL.Responsibilities:* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UI/UX, and software development, to identify, define, and prioritize data-driven initiatives in the contingent labor domain* Develop and implement Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms for text classification, text generation, regression, and forecasting projects* Oversee data science development throughout the project lifecycle, from ideation to production deployment* Evaluate and validate the performance of production models, ensuring their continued alignment with stakeholders' requirements and expectations* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into well-defined data science projects* Present technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, promoting data science success across the organizationQualifications:* 3+ years of experience in data science with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP)* Proven track record of successfully implementing Machine Learning (ML) models and statistical approaches to solve real-world problems* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills* Proficiency in Python* Hands-on experience with Azure, particularly in deploying and managing Machine Learning solutions* Familiarity with MLOps principles, tools, and techniques is a plusWe build breakthroughs togetherSAP innovations help more than 400,000 customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively. The targeted combined range for this position is 81,700-174,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
