INSTORE PROMOTERThe Countertop Factory Companies (TCF) is currently seeking an Instore Promoter to join their team in Chicago, IL (60101). Who we are:The Countertop Factory Companies (TCF) is a fabricator and installer of countertops in the greater Chicago land area, including downstate Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, and Northwest Indiana, as well as Tucson and the greater Phoenix area. TCF services six major markets; a) Production and Customer Home Builders, b) Kitchen & Bath Remodelers, c) Millwork Shops, d) Commercial Projects, e) Big Box Stores, and f) Direct Retail. In these markets, TCF offers its customers the following products and services: a) quick turnaround templating, b) custom fabrication, c) seven business day turnaround time for installation from the time of template, and d) a single source for all products.About the role:TCF is interested in employing an Instore Promoter to support TCF's Midwest operation. As an Instore Promoter, you will be responsible for identifying prospective leads and developing customer relationships to help grow sales for our Countertop Program within various Costco Stores.Essential Job Responsibilities:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.New Business Development.Work events/home shows or demos.Prospecting, generating, and qualifying potential customers for the in-home sales team.Attend various events to promote the Countertop Program within Costco stores.Set up "road shows" within various Costco locations.Set up appointments for in-home estimates.Able to work weekdays with some weekend flexibility.Share product details and program information.Minimum Job Requirements:A valid driving license is required as the role requires traveling frequently.Expectations/Core Competencies:Must be an energetic and motivated individual with strong organizational and sales/marketing skills. In previous positions, they have excelled in sales (growth and customer maintenance), customer service, project management, and problem-solving abilities, which will lend themselves greatly to the aspects of this new opportunity.What We Offer:Compensation:Base pay will be set at $20.00 per hour and this is an hourly position. Paychecks are distributed on the 15th and the last day of each month (24 paychecks per year). All employees in good standing will receive an annual performance review, during which at that time position, pay, and career will be discussed and evaluated. Will also be eligible for commissions as determined by TCF.Will earn the following commissions:$5.00 commissions for each Quoted LeadThe sales team can perform an in-home estimate or quote a potential project.$25.00 commissions for each Sold Lead.The sales team converts lead into a sale. *Commissions are paid once a month on the last day of the month.Benefits: Full-Time employees will be eligible to participate in TCF's voluntary employee benefits plan which includes health care benefits and a 401K program based on open enrollment dates specified by the administering plans.
