Position Summary:
The Food Runner maintains a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the dining room ad is primarily responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately. Each Food Runner is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Gibsons Restaurant Groups philosophy, which is based upon four distinct core beliefs: Hospitality, Quality, Family, and Value. -Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete knowledge of the menu
Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority
Assist in the final preparation of dishes
Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
Deliver dishes to maintain fast service
Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff
Assist wait staff in carrying trays and bringing food to tables.
Maintain stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift. -
Perform all opening and closing side work as required.
Follow company and equipment standards.
Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times.
May perform other duties as assigned. -Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. -No experience is required. -Skills:
Ability to communicate verbally with other dining room staff in a fast-paced environment. Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to feel, pull, push, and lift. Ability to stand for long periods of time and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow instructions and procedures.Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred qualifications:
  • 17 years or older
