Benefits. Job Summary: The Registrar Operations Assistant is
responsible for delivering support services to both students and
administrative personnel, including academic faculty, college
staff, and academic advisors. The function of this position is to
serve as the primary point of contact and receptionist for the
Office of the Registrar, ensuring a seamless and professional
interface with all stakeholders. In addition to front-line
responsibilities, this position plays a pivotal role in maintaining
and managing databases related to transfer equivalency while
contributing to the integrity and accuracy of academic records.
During high-demand periods, the operations assistant may be called
upon to provide backup support to fellow office staff, ensuring the
efficient operation of the office and consistent delivery of
services.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide daily immediate and courteous
information and assistance to students, faculty, university staff,
and other interested parties regarding all questions of the
Registrar's Office. This includes acting as the primary phone
support for the office.
- Maintain the Transfer Equivalent Database (TES) by adding,
editing, and removing course equivalancies.
- Provide back-up support to Transfer Articulation Analysts
(TAA's) during peak time by assisting with transcript
evaluations.
- Identify problems in operations processes and make
recommendations for revisions or updates.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Familiar and comfortable with changing technology.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Office Software
Packages.
- Experience working with a variety of people and have
exceptional communication skills, including when collaborating with
multiple college departments.
- Highly organized and have the ability to adapt quickly to
change.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Prior experience in a university environment preferred.
- Knowledge of computerized student information systems-knowledge
of BANNER database systems preferred.
- Detail orientation/Quality Focus: Has established a track
recorded of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates
attention to detail and reflects well on the organization. Is
personally committed to high quality work and encourages others to
have similar standards.

success. Work environment/Physical Demands/Travel Requirements:
Work in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health
hazard potential or work hazards. Requires average agility and good
physical condition. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy
materials weighing up to approximately 25 to 30 pounds. Work may
require sitting, near vision use for reading and computer use,
lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing, pushing,
