Description:**2nd Shift Position - 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM**The goal of AJ Manufacturing Co., Inc. is to provide the automotive market with timesaving, problem-solving tools. Today, there are numerous sources for automotive tools, and we know this. So, at AJ Manufacturing, we manufacture specialty automotive aftermarket tools that, for the most part, fill a particular niche. Our focus is on providing the highest quality products and a superior level of service to our customers WORLDWIDE.Duties:

• Produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, and machining parameters.
• Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part, and sample work pieces.
• Monitor & report production activity within the assigned manufacturing departments to achieve a level of daily throughput
• Verifies conformance of production parts to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Be responsive to process and equipment deficiencies to maintain scrap levels at or above standard.
• Able to identify and report problems with machinery, tooling, and processes.
• Assures that machinery, equipment, and facilities are clean and properly maintained for efficient production and uphold the standards.
• Act as first responder, in accordance to company standards and practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas.
• Other duties as assigned. Multiple Openings available in work cells constituting below machines:
  • Robotic loaded CNC Okuma L200/L300 SERIES LATHES
  • TAKISAWA TT2100 dual Gantry machine
  • Okuma 460V/560V Machining Centre
  • HASS VF2 Machining Centre
  • Swiss Citizen M32, A32, YAMA SEIKI Bar feeder machines
  • STAR SR20, SR32, SR38 Bar feeder machines
  • Nakamura Tome WY150 Bar feeder machines
  • DMG Twin 42, Twin 65, Sprint 32, Sprint 42, Sprint 65, Speed 20 Bar feeder machineRequirements:Physical demands of the position
