Established in 2008, Mercadito is a renowned restaurant known for
its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious Mexican
cuisine. With over 300 seats, we offer a dynamic and fast-paced
environment where guests can enjoy a unique dining experience. We
are committed to providing excellent service and creating memorable
experiences for our guests.
We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Maitre D' to lead our
host team. The Maitre D' will ensure that our guests receive a warm
welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive until
they leave. This role requires strong leadership, excellent
communication skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a
diverse team.
This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work
evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Expect a 40hr work
week.
The ideal candidate will greet and seat guests, ensuring a smooth
and efficient flow of service while handling reservations, special
requests, and complaints with professionalism and grace. They will
maintain a visible presence on the floor, interacting with guests
to ensure satisfaction. The candidate will lead, train, and mentor
the host team, participating in regular team meetings and training
sessions to ensure high standards of service. They will oversee the
daily operations of the dining room, ensuring professionalism, and
monitor and manage the pacing of the restaurant as required.
Additionally, they will address and resolve any issues or conflicts
that arise with guests and ensure that the ambiance of the
restaurant is inviting and aligns with Mercadito's brand.
