Job Description:

Coverage Needed

• ASAP - Ongoing Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8a-5p
  • Potential Call for EMU's Clinical Details
    • 7 shifts/month
    • Typical Day: Provider will see 8-12 patients a day, review EMU's and collaborate with Neurological support team
    • Teaching facility with 16 Neurology Residents
    • Level 1 trauma center
    • 5 bed EMU Requirements
      • Ideally able to read to read cEEGs and LTEEGs, staff the EMU and support the functional neurosurgery program(e.g. brain mapping) and meet residency training requirements
      • Experience or willingness to learn the indications and management of VNS, RNS and DBS for epilepsy would be ideal
      • Experience with perioperative stero-electroencephalogram(SEEG) analysis is ideal
      • Active IL License, DEA, and CSR
      • Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible
      • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
      • Minimum Years' Experience (if applicable): 1
      • 90 days to credential Support Staff
        • 3 APP's and neurological support team are in place to support for epilepsy surgery evaluations EMR
          • Epic
