They ensure patient, family, and physician satisfaction daily and are responsible for all areas within the Admitting department.QualificationsEducation, Experience, Training

• High school diploma or equivalent required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires).
• One to two years of experience as a supervisor in the Admitting areas of an acute care facility preferred.
• Preferred Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand and interpret third-party payer principles, COBRA laws, and related terms. Strong organizational skills for effective communication with patients, physicians, staff, and administration. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

The estimated total compensation for this role ranges from $21.75 to $31.50, including wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation.
