Digital Account Executive / $40-$60k Purpose: To deliver the client's mission on an executional level; providing extraordinary attention and results for our clients' key stakeholders and teams. Overview: The Account Executive position utilizes general marketing background to quantitatively analyze client brand digital posture to provide analytics-based feedback and insights.The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish, earning the confidence of and developing a strong working rapport with, day-to-day client contacts.PrimaryDuties include: Develop and maintain active and productive working relationships with client contacts Earn and keep these clients' respect and confidence as someone they can trust to communicate information Relay ideas in a clear, concise, and timely manner Develop a knowledge of, and be conversant in, each client's business - business model basics, key issues, and competitive situation Demonstrate a commitment to get the job done right and with enthusiasm Anticipate, and proactively make the Arcalea Project Management team aware of any and all expectations and any issuesPlanning Support: The Account Executive position requires sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.This includes the ability to: Develop a range of options for client and agency staff in regard to workload, scheduling, troubleshooting, and support Display a willingness to embrace research and competitive information opportunities Articulate, and adhere to, agreed upon project directives and provisioning guidelines Facilitate evaluation and provide a point of view on strategic, tactical and channel alternatives Make decisions that reflect a balance of enthusiasm, caution and discretion Organizational Skills:The Account Executive is the primary project executive on all client projects and thus must demonstrate an ability to organize workload and workflow. This includes: Effectively manage time, establish clear objectives and day-to-day priorities in order to handle multiple tasks and deadlines Demonstrate an ability to manage details - attentive, accurate and thorough Display characteristics of a "self-starter" - able to anticipate needs and act without direction, when required Provide effective and efficient use of agency resources and processes to ensure projects are delivered as promised in terms of content, time, and budget Maintain current client, agency, and competitive files in an orderly manner, following agency guidelines, structure, naming conventions, and location Identify, classify, categorize, and be able to retrieve information as required by you or agency team members Deliver thorough, accurate, and consistent work to clients and agency staff Direct appropriate AAE, Intern, or third-party resources to project completion to manage client goals and expectations Presentation and Planning Support:The Account Executive is responsible for providing presentation support in the form of project planning, development, presentation creation, preparation and delivery, as requested. Make certain agency facilities are prepared for client visits and all presentation materials/supplies are available and ready prior to the meeting Make certain presentation support materials are consistent and in line with the agency's expectations of quality and brand Plan projects for SOWs, and acquire the requisite approvals, in a timely manner before presenting to clients Communication Skills:The Account Executive must be able to write and speak with clarity, authority, and persuasion. Specifically: Collect, analyze, organize and present an insightful point of view on client assignments or new opportunities Contribute to the development of project and/or annual client planning documents Be clear and concise in all written information to clients and staff Agency Processes:The Account Executive must consistently utilize agency tools and processes to make certain projects are on-time, on-budget and in support of the information needs of agency management. Prepare accurate and timely internal communication: conference reports, creative or project briefs, and close projects in a timely manner Prepare weekly status reports for each client to keep them abreast of ongoing work Prepare project briefs, estimates, scopes of work (SOWs), and save estimates to appropriate jobs in the appropriate Google folder, as well as the project management system Monitor project estimates vs. time and costs to advise of potential budget issues Maintain weekly understanding of any ongoing projects, in order to direct changes on weekly, not monthly basis, if required Prepare and analyze monthly dashboards in a timely and efficient manner Prepare monthly recaps for each client and distribute as part of the monthly close Ensure time is entered on a daily basis Submit expense reports within seven days and follow agency guidelines and policies for reimbursement Follow all standard agency policies and procedures Account Executive Notes:Account Executive should be able to: Conduct all correspondence with enthusiasm, responsibility, and integrity Learn, adapt, and comply with ongoing changes to agency processes, procedures, and tools Manage 4-6 concurrent client accounts simultaneously Execute business on behalf of clients in a timely, responsible manner Appear presentable and client-ready at all times while at work Always conduct yourself in an appropriate manner Continuously seek industry knowledge, learning, and experience Continuously uphold the high company standards Continuously strive to set the example of excellence in every way Attend regular industry networking or learning events to gain experience and garner industry exposure for Arcalea Arcalea Account Executive Metrics:Successful execution of the role and eligibility for Senior Account Executive includes: Record at least 40 hours/week in time, daily (or all time, if not full-time employee) Achieve target realization weekly Manage client billable projects to within profitability targets (target is completing price or hourly equivalent) Execute proper grammar and punctuation in time coding and notes Respond to any customer emails w/ in 3 business hours (acknowledgement and expectation of answer) Acquire (and maintain) certifications in Google Analytics, Adwords, Facebook Blueprint, and Hubspot Inbound Fulfill, deliver, and deliver conference reports for all customer meetings in the appropriate project and Google file folder Facilitate tactical client success through evaluation of opportunities, industry trends, new product offerings Target 100% account retention YOY Adaptation to any updated agency systems or proceduresBenefits: Arcalea is independently owned, entrepreneurial consultancy, and places a premium on delivered-value to clients.Culture, Quality, and Team are of the highest importance to all of us.We blend a proprietary methodology of quantitative analysis to reveal unique industry insights for our clients.
