Client Services Operations - Growing Futures Client Services Team

We're looking for a new client services associate to join our
growing client operations team in Chicago. The candidate we re
looking for will have 2 to 3 years of experience and be coming out
of a graduate rotation in a financial services firm. We re more
than willing to train the successful candidate in the more
technical aspects of the role, the key characteristics we d like is
a strong work ethic, a desire to learn and grow your skillset and
basic financial services exposure.
The Client Solutions team within the Futures and Options/Listed
Derivatives group is comprised of experienced industry
professionals who possess detailed knowledge of global markets and
operations and their impact on client relationships. The team is
responsible for providing a single point of contact to assist with
streamlining the numerous aspects of post trade and clearing
Each Client Solutions Representative ( CSR ) is responsible for
managing a specific group of client relationships within a team
context. This multifaceted role is designed to ensure a high level
of consistency that guarantees client satisfaction across all
aspects of the clearing relationship.
In addition to daily/day-to-day functions the CSR is expected to
develop a clear understanding and familiarity of our client base s
processes, structures, strategies and operational requirements.
This knowledge and familiarity of the client allows the CSR to
proactively recognize issues and identify areas for technology
implementation and development.
CSR s also work very closely with the following teams: Sales and
Marketing, Execution/Front Office, Operations/Back Office,
Compliance, Risk Management, IT and Trade Support.
On a day to day basis, you'll monitor the daily client margin
process ensuring all calls, payments and collateral transactions
are processed across client accounts correctly and that margin
requirements are met. You'll monitor clients through the contract
delivery and settlement processes including: ex-pit transfers,
options exercise and assignment notification, client interaction
surrounding physical delivery and cash settlements.
Using your strong communication skills, you'll respond to client
inquiries, including: trade discrepancies, commission, fee and
brokerage discrepancies and performing root cause problem analysis.
You'll also monitor of daily trade flow and intraday trade
resolution and reviewing commission and fee static data on both a
top day and T+1 basis.
Working proactively with clients to identify areas for improved
operational efficiencies, you'll support sales and technology
groups through managing the on-boarding process for new customers
and expand existing relationships. You'll also coordinate client
access to trading platforms and trade management tools.
