Description Overview: The Midwest Region Senior Event team
plans, creates and executes client event activities from concept
through execution and evaluation for the Midwest Region of J.P.
Morgan’s Private Bank. Working in a dynamic environment you will
play a key role in the day-to-day event preparation and strategy
for the Midwest-region markets providing considerable thought and
support to the overall event execution. This will include
maintaining event budgets/payments, creating event collateral,
reconciling event attendance, ROI analysis, providing on-site event
support, event registration and data ownership, among other tasks.
As an Events Management Junior Associate, within the Asset
Management Events Team, you will report to the Head of Midwest
Private Bank Events supporting the Midwest Region events team
efforts. The job demands interaction with colleagues on the global
events team and the larger marketing group, bankers and product
partners, and senior management so that we can ensure a consistent
and distinctive experience for clients which underscores our
business strategies. You will primarily focus on local/regional
client events but can be involved in large events targeting a
global client base. Job Responsibilities: Understand business
objectives and developing an event strategy that supports business
goals Create high-touch events consistent with J.P. Morgan Private
Bank brand standards Support events from start to finish, including
maintaining the event calendar and budgets, negotiating with
vendors, processing invoices, and producing event materials.
Support onsite event staffing which may include registration desk
management, distribution of materials, oversight of
presentations/AV needs, speaker handling, and coordination with
vendors Drive strong data management, including RSVP tracking pre
and post event and ROI analysis Think strategically with the
ability to problem solve and offer creative solutions Monitor
venues and stay on top of what’s new in the area. Liaise with other
JPMorganChase lines of business to leverage and consolidate ideas,
share resources, and cross-sell event opportunities Participate and
provide agendas for weekly regional team meetings, budget calls,
and multiple banker meetings providing event updates and key
takeaways Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 2 years of
experience in events, marketing, hospitality, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint; Excellent
oral and written communications skills Ability to work early
morning and late evening events and ability to travel Ability to
prioritize tasks and communicate clearly amongst a variety of
personalities Excellent organizational skills and extreme attention
to detail Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-expectation
environment; adaptable and resourceful problem solver. Familiarity
with budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor coordination.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Previous
financial services experience a plus Knowledge of event
registration systems a plus experience with event/CRM tools a
plus
