    What We Are Looking For

    Perform all Senior Production Technician and below job responsibilities, and is viewed as the subject matter expert - (SME), for all basic, intermediate and advanced processes, and equipment within the department. Working towards a career path in Supervision/Leadership and is actively taking management classes and has demonstrated leadership skills. Perform team leader functions. This will include, but is not limited to, weekend site supervision, extension of supervisor, and providing work direction to team. Has ability to act as supervisor when required. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and leads by example/mentor. Very high level of mechanical aptitude and ability for operating and troubleshooting all processes within the area. Responsible for programming automation and manual processes, conducts testing trials on new materials, processes and equipment and works closely with engineering, Tool & Die and maintenance.

    What You Will Do
    • Set up & troubleshoot area machines and related production equipment and processes of advanced technologies.
    • Advance a work environment of teamwork and collaboration, focused on continuous improvement. Communicate performance expectations, requirements and work direction to the team. Actively involved in continuing leadership competency and lean leadership education.
    • Start-up, operation and shutdown of area machines and related production equipment of advanced technology equipment and processes, to produce finished product.
    • Work in conjunction with engineering to perform system effectiveness evaluation. Involved with writing area manufacturing and employee related procedures and training materials.
    • Primary training expert for less experienced employees.
    • Leads active involvement in the identification and elimination of waste associated with all area machines and related production equipment and processes of basic, intermediate and advanced technology. Complete A3's for improvement ideas and leads Kaizen events and other teams to help resolve issues.

      What You Will Bring
      • Required Degree: High school education or GED equivalent (US) or country equivalent.
      • Experience: 7+ years of related manufacturing experience
      • A high level of competence is required in directing high level activities, such competence can only be acquired by means of comprehensive experience over many years.
