ResponsibilitiesThe Financial Analyst is part of a team of individuals responsible for the analysis of the Companys financial results and support of the annual financial and operating budgets and quarterly forecasts. Individual will also be responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual analyses of financial performance variances. This position will report directly to the FP&A Senior Analyst. In addition, this position will be involved in responding to ad-hoc requests and will interact with Executives, Functional Leads, Finance and Accounting personnel. Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with finance department, segment controllers and functional leads in the budget and forecast processes, monthly/quarterly close and reporting
  • Work closely with finance department, senior management and functional leads to provide requested critical and meaningful analyses
  • Support the overall forecasting process by producing timely, accurate and insightful financial analyses for senior management, and for the Companys Board of Directors
  • Continuously develop, analyze and evaluate new and novel financial analyses not otherwise produced QualificationsKnowledge/Skills Required:
    • Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 0-3
    • Undergraduate finance or accounting degree required, with record of high academic performanceKnowledge/Skills Preferred:
      • Strong working knowledge of financial statements and managerial reporting
      • Keen analytical mind and strong intellectual curiosity
      • Desire to learn, grow, and seek increased responsibility
      • Ability to work closely and effectively in a team environment across all facets of the Company
      • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and desire to quickly learn and master new systems including: Hyperion Planning (or similar), Peoplesoft, Costpoint, and Power Business Intelligence/Pivot. Costpoint experience a plus
      • Prefer strong systems experience with history of automating or streamlining processes
      • Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with the ability to work independently
