the Edward Jones Compensation area, this position will play a key
role in executing enhancements, automation opportunities, and
projects within Compensation department. As part of this position,
this role will work directly with Compensation leaders, associates
and our Incentive Compensation product team to achieve results.
Position responsibilities are:
- Plan, lead, and execute projects, enhancements, and processes
including the launch of new products or compensation programs,
enhancements to existing tools and systems, and high-visibility
firm priorities.
- Plan and lead requirements identification and verification for
new products and tools.
- Act as technical consultant with business and I.S. leaders from
multiple divisions and with varying levels of influence. Maintain
strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Lead the testing of complex enhancements and system upgrades
with responsibility for the identification, tracking of issues, and
implementation of solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and explore new relationships with 3rd party
vendors to offer tools and solutions that make it easier, faster,
and better for branch teams to meet client needs.
- Adopt processes for risk controls (e.g. Privacy, Business
Continuity Planning, Record Information Management, Written
Supervisory Procedures) and coordinate with departments to complete
the applicable requirements.
- Collaborate with Firm Analytics to leverage data for insights
and reporting needed to inform business decisions and communicate
results.
- Determine appropriate workflows as a result of qualitative and
quantitative analysis.
- Act as subject matter expert in assigned product area(s) of
emphasis.
- Provides feedback, coaching, training, and guidance to help
develop other associates; takes a leadership role in the
development of new associates/interns; and may lead other
associates.Functional testing

- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience required.
- Generally, 7 years of experience working with tools/systems,
and/or project experience in product or financial services industry
or combination of experience and education.
- Strong project management, business system analysis and/or
Information Systems (IS) experience needed.

role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills,
experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential
new associate:
