As a -Senior Pharmacy Care Technician, -you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members and their physicians/pharmacies to improve health quality outcomes (i.e. medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). - This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration. *You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute 4 days a week with one required day onsite in the Downers Grove office, must live within reasonable driving distance to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities: -



Perform telephonic customer outreach to improve health quality outcomes in collaboration with clinical pharmacists


Provide additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies


Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements, triaging to a clinical pharmacist when appropriate


Work in collaboration with clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians -

Required Qualifications: -



High School Diploma or GED


Illinois Pharmacy Technician License -and/or -National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)


1+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician


1+ years of experience in a customer service role that requires communication skills


2+ years of experience with -Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system


2+ years of experience with Microsoft Word (ability to sort, filter, and create simple documents), Microsoft Excel (ability to sort, filter, and create simple spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (ability to create, respond to, store, and retrieve emails, and use calendar to schedule meetings)


You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location

Preferred Qualifications: -



1+ years of experience with pharmacy claims processing systems including ability to help pharmacies resolve rejected claims


Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience


Experience with Part D claims adjudication
