The impact you can have

The Senior Project Manager - Operations will lead and support Warehouse Managers across all 15 Retail Support Centers (RSC's) to improve safety, improve quality, reduce labor costs and increase service levels to retailers. Successful execution of these role requires cross functional collaboration with corporate business partners and site leadership teams at the RSC's and Cross Docks. This position will serve as a subject matter expert and the primary point of contact for Inbound and Outbound operations.

What you'll do

Support day to day operations at the Retail Support Centers (RSC's) as needed

  • Responsive to system questions, issues, discrepancies, and general inquiries
  • Manage communication to all RSC managers
  • Provide indirect support to other corporate teams to ensure continuity and consistency on overall direction
    Lead and manage projects and initiatives that will support Continuous Improvement
    • Identify "Best in class" performance and replicate at all RSC's to gain operational improvements
    • Enhancements to systems and reporting
    • Provide training and feedback on issues and areas of improvement
    • Facilitate monthly warehouse manager team calls
    • Implementation of projects and project updates
      Support defect resolution and serve as a liaison between IT and the RSC's
      • Providing input to defect prioritization
      • Defects managements and updates
      • Coordinating the validation of defect fixes
      • Communicating updates of fixes to field and what's up next
        Support development of effective and accurate Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and monitor conformance to the SWI's
        • Support the RSC's by maintaining, improving, and creating SWI's
        • Monitor progress and trends of completing SWI audits and quality of audits
          Manage Reporting & Visibility
          • Monitoring KPI's and RSC trends and performance
          • Provide general support and recommendations through data mining and analysis
          • Communicate, train, and track progress using aligned safety, quality and productivity performance metrics

            What you need to succeed

            • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field

              • Minimum 10 years' experience in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Warehousing or related field with at least 2 years working at a regional or corporate level
                • Strong transformational leadership, collaborative, interpersonal and organizational skills
                • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively communicate complex and technical requirements to non-technical personnel. Communicator who is credible and self-assured with the ability to communicate well with Sr. Leadership effectively through oral and written presentation
                • Must be a self-starter who works well in a team environment
                • Ability to drive process improvements, get results, and drive change through others
                • Ability to lead projects to lead projects with diverse, cross functional groups consisting of subject matter experts in their respective fields
                • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Power Point
                • Strong data analysis skills including familiarity with working with databases to pull information
                • Able and willing to travel up to 30%
