Examination Analyst

Job Description:

One position and can can be located in our Chicago, Santa Monica or Washington, DC office.
Under the direction of the Director, the Examination Analyst is responsible for interacting with clients as needed to obtain relevant information, organize document compilations, track matters and handle confidential information and manage all aspects of examination project management. This position is with APPROVED, Buckley's licensing and examination division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Track informational requests to client and from state and federal regulators.
Prepare and compile money transmitter, mortgage lender, mortgage broker, mortgage servicer, mortgage loan originator and other financial-services related application or examination documentation.
Organize application or examination documentation.
Assist with preparing correspondence to client, state and federal regulators.
Prepare correspondence to client, state and federal regulators.
Correspond with client, state and federal regulators.
Compile, scan and send information requests to regulators via multiple technology platforms.
Assist clients with the State Examinations System
Coordinate multiple examinations at one time.
Review and analyze regulatory notifications.
Participate in team meetings.
Build and maintain relationships and foster the APPROVED brand.
Ability to learn new software.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to work overtime, including weekends as needed.

Performance Traits:
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and must be a self-starter. -The ability to manage a high-volume workload, and to effectively interface with various levels of personnel is critical to operational success.

Technical Skills:
Must have proficiency using PDF software, strong Microsoft Excel experience, and a working proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. -Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System experience is a plus.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Office administrative, legal, compliance, financial services, and/or licensing experience is a plus. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including boosters (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
