The Pricing team is a part of Linear Revenue Yield Management
within Disney Ad Sales, a division within the Disney Media &
Entertainment Distribution Segment of The Walt Disney Company. Our
primary responsibilities include:Ratecard selling schedule creation
and management, inventory management, deal approvals, and avails
reporting. The group regularly interacts with a broad array of
other departments including Planning, Revenue Analytics, and all
levels of Sales, Global Ad Ops, Network Scheduling, Network Promo,
Traffic, Tech, Sales Enablement, Research, Client Solutions and
Finance. The goal of the team is to maximize revenue and respond to
advertiser needs through inventory management across both upfront
and scatter marketplace deals.
The Sr. Analyst position supports the Pricing Management team for a
network or group of networks. Working closely with Planners, the
Sr. Analyst supports liability management and deal stewardship
activities, curating the information needed to identify
opportunities both at the deal level and also at the selling title
level, to drive utilization and in turn revenue recognition. Goal
is to facilitate deal fulfillment via targeted reporting coming
from various systems.
The Sr. Analyst also assumes a leadership role via review of the
business pipeline which is a critical data set used to assess
marketplace health and forecast accuracy. Working with the
Planners, the goal is to eliminate aged records each week. The Sr.
Analyst must be able to facilitate and manage relationships that
drive cooperation and action among peers. In addition, the Sr.
Analyst Pricing partners with the Senior Planners to help with
Planner development efforts and works closely with the Managers RYM
Analytics, Research, Traffic, Sales Enablement and Global Ad

--- Monitor pipeline and research deal status directly with
Planners to ensure current and accurate data is available to
management routinely, which is used to assess marketplace health
and update financial forecasts.
--- Stewardship & MSA reporting/data specialist. Understand
functionality and mentor others as needed. Cross net process
--- Curate deal level liability information to provide the planners
with an actionable target set, with expressed expectation of
decrementing liability balances.
--- Develop an action plan to address low demand (sellout) periods.
Assemble information re: deals in flight, AD use, liability
balances to ensure likelihood of advertiser acceptance.
--- Expert re: originals inventory use. Develop "go to" account
list based on insights as liability and stewardship expert.
--- Support Account Manager requests moving inventory within booked
deals with consideration of revenue/P&L impact. Offer feedback
as indicated. Mentor AMs.
--- At least 3 years of business experience, with understanding of
Media Pricing or Planning in a national sales organization
