Job Summary:

*WELLBE INTRODUCTION*
The WellBe care model is a Physician Led Advanced Practicegeriatric care (care of older adults) team focused on the care of the frail, poly-chronic, elderly Medicare Advantage patients. This population is typically underserved and very challenged with access to care. To address these problems, we have elected to bring the care to the patient, instead of trying to bring the patient to the care. Care is provided throughout the entire continuum of care - from chronic care and urgent care in the home, to hospital, to skilled nursing facility, to assisted living, to palliative care, to end of life care. WellBe's physician/advanced practicing clinician led geriatric care teams' partner with the patient's primary care physician to provide concierge level geriatric medical care and social support in the home as well as delivering and coordinating across the entire care continuum.

*GENERAL SUMMARY*
This role will advance WellBe's understanding of our patient's healthcare utilization and how we can reduce unnecessary healthcare costs while achieving better patient outcomes, and patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge/understanding of healthcare data sets, including medical claims, HCC, HEDIS, and be detailed oriented. This role reports to the SVP of Data and Clinical Solutions and works closely with operational and clinical leaders. Responsibilities include collaborating with operational and clinical leaders to design reports and dashboards to answer key questions about our care model, complete analyses leveraging medical claims, EMR inputs, patient attributions, and healthcare operations data sets. Identify key insights and communicate to various stakeholders through the WellBe organization.


Job Description:
*SKILLS & COMPETENCIES*

* Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements
* Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources
* Handle complex data projects and acts as a lead for other Reporting Analysts.
* Provide analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas: claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting
* Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis.
* Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts.
* Work with key business owners to establish and meet their analytic needs and the analytic needs of the organization
* Work with Analytics teams to operationalize analytic and reporting innovations
* Develop actionable dashboards and reports to support care management and ACO operations
* Creates, develops and maintains reports, datasets, ad hoc requests, dashboards, metrics, etc. for end-users using system tools and databases.
* Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
* Convert legacy reports from SQL sourced data to Snowflake
* Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards
* Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence
* Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.
* Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reports
* Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes
* Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision
* Other tasks needed to accomplish team's objectives/goals


Job Requirements:
*Educational/Experience Requirements*:

* BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable.
* Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered
* 5+ years of reporting and dashboard development experience.
* Healthcare experience required. Tableau experience preferred
*Required Skills and Abilities: *

* Knowledge of Enterprise Reporting and Analysis tools, SQL, and visual analytic applications.
* Fluency in SQL or other similar programming languages. Some development experience in at least one scripting language (Python, R, etc.) is a plus.
* Experience launching internal metric dashboards and scorecards.
* Analytical ability required to gather data, perform transformation, perform complex analysis, solve both business and technical problems.
* Proficiency with business intelligence techniques & tools for the acquisition and transformation of raw data into meaningful and useful information for business and analysis purposes.
* Knowledge of relational databases and EMR data structure.
* Advanced ability to problem-solve creatively and analyze processes and systems.
* Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries required.
* Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures.
* Knowledge of project and information management.
* Excellent interpersonal ( verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams.
* Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
*Supervisory Responsibility*: No supervisory responsibilities.

*Travel requirements:* Travel may be required up to 10% locally or nationally

*Work Conditions:*
This position will work in a variety of settings, e.g. office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Requires prolonged sitting. Requires bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, crouching, crawling and/or stretching from seated or standing positions. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate medical equipment, frequently operates a keyboard, telephone, copier, calculator and other office equipment. Manual dexterity and coordination necessary to operated office equipment, telephone, keyboard, copier and calculator. Requires close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust visual focus, hearing and smelling. Must be able to communicate information via telephone or computer. Requires moderate to intense concentration due to complexity. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
