This role is within Chamberlain Group's Finance function. We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Credit Analyst. A successful incumbent will analyze customers' financial condition for credit worthiness utilizing multiple tools that include internal history, 3rd party data, credit reports and other customer attributes.Independently manage Tier 1 accounts, and their assignments to maximize timely payments and minimize deductions.
CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. THIS ROLE WILL BE PRIMARILY REMOTE, BUT CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO OUR OAK BROOK, IL HEADQUARTERS WHEN THE BUSINESS NEED ARISES.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business (or related field)

3+ years of credit experience

MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Must be organized and able to work within deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to travel up to 10% - domestically and internationally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
NACM Designations - CBA preferred

SAP experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish credit limits for new accounts adhering to company policy

Monitor customer activity and recommend revisions to credit levels and limits as needed

Responsible for full maintenance of assigned Tier 1 accounts. To include analysis of internal history, and external reporting, deduction resolution and communication with Sales and other business segments.
Review, resolve and release customer orders referred via ERP system. Action is in compliance with departmental guidelines while maintaining customer goodwill and expediting shipments.
Responsible for all escalated collection activity on past due accounts
Prepare and present accurate month-end reports regarding Tier 1 accounts
Able to communicate with internal and external customers in a clear, concise, and timely manner (written and verbal)
Interpret financial statements received from new and existing accounts
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
