they're making history.As an Information Systems Security Officer
(ISSO), you will perform assessments of systems and networks within
the networking environment and identify where those systems and
networks deviate from acceptable configurations and policy. This is
achieved through passive evaluations such as compliance audits and
active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments. Establishes
strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and
supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.
Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security
certification test, security documentation, as well as
investigations, software research, hardware introduction and
release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic
audits. Assist in the implementation of the required government
policy (i.E., NISPOM, DAAPM), make recommendations on process
tailoring, participate in and document process activities.The
selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate
operational security posture is maintained for our systems. The
ISSO assists with, but is not limited to:a. Ensuring systems are
operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security
policiesand procedures as outlined in the security plan.b.
Verifying the implementation of delegated aspects of the system
security program.c. Ensuring all proper account management
documentation is completed.d. Verifying all system security
documentation is current and accessible to properly
authorizedindividuals.e. Conducting periodic assessments of
authorized systems.f. Ensuring audit records are collected and
analyzed.h. Monitoring system recovery processes.I. Executing a
continuous monitoring strategy of the required systems.Basic
Qualifications:Master's degree with 3 years of experience; OR a
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience; OR an Associates
degreewith 7 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with
9 years of experience is requiredMust have a DoD 8570 IAM level II,
or level III, security certification (examples: CAP, CASP CE, CISM,
GSLC, CISSP-Associate, or CISSP), OR must have the ability to
obtain the certification within 6 months of startCandidates must
have a current DOD Secret security clearanceMust have a working
knowledge of Risk Managed Framework and eMASS.Preferred
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in
Cyber Security, a CISSP, and 6 years of experience with
Certification and Accreditation of classified systems and Risk
Management FrameworkKnowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&
Ms, NIST, system audits,vulnerability scanning, customer compliance
inspections and RMF package development preferredSalary Range:
$96,900 USD $145,300 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
