REF: CO323 Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician Needed in Chicago, IL! Full time and permanent position! To Apply please submit your resume directly or send your resume to Hematology MT/ MLT (2nd shift 3p-11:30p) This individual is responsible for specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results. Testing performed will include waived, moderate and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. He/she will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. In addition this individual will participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA and other applicable agencies. He/she will perform specimen collection as necessary.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR MLT Associates degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training or both in the specialty or subspecialty in which the individual performs test. MT Bachelor degree in medical technology from an accredited college or university. Or Bachelor degree in one of the chemical, physical or biological sciences and in addition has at least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training or both in the specialty or subspecialty in which the individual performs test.
