Summary: -Reporting to the Vice President Global Total Rewards,
this role will focus on compensation program management and
administration as well as providing advisory support to Human
Resources, Finance and divisional business leaders. The -GBS
Compensation Lead -will provide subject matter expertise in the
design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related
program and will interact closely with internal stakeholders to
facilitate compensation-related activities in support of divisional
goals and objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs, implements and administers compensation initiatives,
long-term and variable incentive plans within the division, working
with divisional business and HR leaders to develop compensation
programs specific to their organization.
- Plans and implements compensation initiatives/projects within
the division. Evaluates and makes recommendations on selected
business changes requiring analysis (e.g., rates for new hires,
specialized programs, budgeting, restructuring, acquisitions,
etc.). -
- Analyzes, designs, implements, and administers targeted
compensation and variable incentive programs. Ensures consistency
of approach between rewards and performance management
practices.
- Models financial impact of compensation plans in support of
divisional structure and supports the implementation of a new
compensation programs. -
- Manages introduction of corporate initiatives within the
division, customizing communication materials as necessary.
- Teams with HR and business leadership to manage and administer
salary increase pools, bonus allocations, and long-term incentive
nominations.
- Works with compensation specialist teams to incorporate
compensation platforms and tools, develop employee long-term
incentive retention strategies, implement salary structures,
fine-tune and instill proper job architecture, and integrate
corporate programs into the division. Serves as liaison between
specialist groups and business groups, including specialists in
meetings with business leaders.
- Partners with the finance and payroll team to administer pay
changes and bonus payment cycles.
- Educates HR and Business contacts on compensation related
initiatives and usage of compensation data.
- Designs reports and scorecards to manage compensation strategy
and expense.Required:
- BA + minimum 7 years related experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and expert knowledge
of Excel.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and complete analysis,
proposals, presentations, reports and other written materials.
- Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of human
resources administration related to the area of compensation.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state wage and hour laws,
codes, and other regulations related to the area of
compensation.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of compensation program
development, administration, and evaluation.
- Exposure to merger and acquisition activity, and significant
experience of change management
- Commercial data analysis and management information
- Project management/support
- Experience working in a large/complex matrixed
organization
- Strong communication and presentation skills. -
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and expert knowledge
of Excel. -
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and complete analysis,
proposals, presentations, reports and other written materials
- Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits
such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating
resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and
demonstrating respect for others.
- Competent in business acumen, consultation, critical
evaluation, handling confidential data, and ethical practices.
