  • Contribute to all phases of bidding process until approval from Chief Estimator.
  • Prepare work to be estimated by gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Help acquire construction subcontractors to include in building process.
  • Interact with construction subcontractors and component suppliers such as concrete, steel, joist, precast and masonry.
  • Assist with managing relationships with project owners as required, including the oversight of meetings with both partners and senior project managers.

    • 5+ years experience in construction with General Contractor preferred.
    • 1-2+ years of experience estimating jobs valued $5MM+
    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in construction related discipline.
    • Experience with the bidding process: soliciting bids, communicating with bidders, evaluating subcontractor proposals, using bid tally sheets, etc.
    • Experience in using Estimating software.
    • Growth driven individual interested in long-term position with a top Chicagoland GC.What's on Offer
