The Business Solutions Analyst is a role critical in the efficient, effective delivery of technical solutions for clients of Summit's Recognition & Incentives team. The Business Solutions Analyst will have a strong understanding of Summit's technical platform and be able to translate client needs into clear, concise technical requirements that enable seamless project plans, clearly communicated deliverables and on time, on budget program launches. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.Be the liaison between the client, program management team, IT team and sales team.Work in conjunction with clients, sales leadership, and program management to ensure that layout, content, and functionality for the client site is clearly defined and within scope of realistic system solutions.Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for the IT organization and manages changes to such requirements. Collaborate with developers and Subject Matter Experts to establish the technical vision and analyze usability.Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Create client site requirements for client review and approval. Develop a strong working knowledge of Summit's recognition platform with the intention of being able to solve client needs by using the various tools that are native to the platform.Work collaboratively and in tandem with the Solution Manager to ensure that client SOW's are meticulously executed on time and on budget.Manage third-party relationship with platform partner developing a sound working knowledge of the technology, use cases, and new feature releases in order to ensure that Summit is working proactively to maintain a strong working knowledge of the tools available to promote client growth.Regularly consult with clients, program managers and IT to manage technical change orders, identify and solve issues and suggest improvements.Create and maintain process workflows and business documentation to increase proficiency.Contribute to instructions or quick-use documents to guide end-users as needed.Drive process improvements to determine best practices. Ability to learn and work on multiple technologies. Experience working to deliver technical solutions to clients is a plus. Experience in fields of Recognition & Incentives is preferred.
