Sr Consultant, HRIS (Global Time and Absence) Northern Trust, a

Resources/Global Time and Absence SR HRIS Consultant The key
responsibilities of the role include: The Global Time and
Attendance Sr. HRIS Consultant is primarily responsible for design,
deployment and ongoing management of Northern Trust's Time and
Attendance (T&A) system across the globe. This role is a key
position in supporting the implementation of a new HCM, Workday, to
support 25,000 employees in 20 countries. The Global T&A Sr.
Consultant will report into the Global HR Operations Lead. --- In
partnership with HR Compliance, Benefits, ER and the Compensation
COEs, analyzes requirements for new regulations, employment
policies or compensation programs to ensure system and operations
compliance. --- Is primarily responsible for documenting business
requirements and working with HRIT to implement time and absence
rules in the HR system. - --- Coordinates / completes testing, and
ensures appropriate COEs review and approve system results. ---
Oversees and evaluates system change requests and provides ongoing
consulting for requested changes. --- Responsible for creating and
documenting operational procedures; and provides training on Time,
Absence and Leave related system processes for the HR Services team
who directly supports inquiries from employees. --- When
applicable, partners with Payroll to ensure T&A data feeds are
accurate and timely into the payroll process. --- Periodically
audits and reviews T&A data and content for accuracy and
compliance against documented policy. --- Manages a nd resolves
escalated and more complex cases of T&A data issues or
corrections. Skills/ Qualifications: The successful candidate will
benefit from having: --- Experience with an HCM for HR such as
Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud, etc. --- Excellent analytical
and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify
problems and systematically gather data, identify root causes and
address data integrity issues is required. --- Proficient in
writing business requirements --- Skilled in Project Management ---
Knowledge of Time and Absence practices in various countries
preferred --- Excellent oral and written communication skills ---
Ability to manage work effectively, and interact/consult with other
HR functions --- A College or University degree in Computer
Science, Business or Human Resources and/or relevant proven work
experience in human resources information systems industry is
