The PC Technician Role is a long-term contract / contract / temporary opportunity and will be located in the Harvey, Illinois region.How you will make an impact- Provide computer hardware support for PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment, including diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds, and refurbishments- Manage and execute technology implementation projects- Assist with functionality testing and end user support- Oversee data transfers from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix- Install printers, troubleshoot and handle repairs- Ensure the integrity of electronic data records, acting in accordance with company quality standards- Interface with ticket submitters regularly and effectively- Handle all imaging and preparation tasks for new computers- Take down, pack, transport and set up/install on site- Provide documentation of daily data communication transactions, issues and repairs made or installation activities- Disassemble, box and ship equipment that is out of date- Arrange for repairs through the appropriate vendors- Manage equipment inventory, collaborating on purchases as needed
