Job Description:

we must do the same. For this reason, Carmeuse has launched the
Smart Plant project with a critical mission of leveraging
technology to improve our operations. Starting with two pilot
plants, the project's vision is to roll out to the broader Carmeuse
network, wherever it makes business sense.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Smart
Plant Integration Manager will coordinate between BPOs, OT
(Operations Technology), Plant, and IT/Digital teams to drive a
collective outcome for the Digital Ops project in North America.
This individual will partner with regional Business leads to
implement the Smart Plant Project and support change management.The
Smart Plant project will involve three distinct and concurrent
phases for any plants to be digitally transformed, and below are
the responsibilities of the Business lead for each stage:Stage 1:
Implementation phase:Communicate vision, roadmap, objectives,
scope, and definitions.Use expertise to proactively advise on
implementation strategy and resource availability-report on
communication-Quality & Risk management.Aid digital implementation
teams in understanding lime production systems and identifying
essential data tags.Ensure the implemented solutions meet the
requirements defined in the listed deliverables.Follow up with
project spending and financials.Prioritize the flow of work to
align with enterprise strategy.Participate in demos, training,
testing, data definition, and user forums.Stage 2: User Adoption
for Pilot Plants & Continuous Improvement Needs:Develop and
maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance
and benefits/value post-launch to evaluate future improvement
needs. Gather feedback from Operational teams from Plant &
Corporate. The Business Lead will also help cross-train users for
faster adoption of our solution and provide business guidance in
production support issues.The role also requires driving change
management which includes training provided by Prosci and requires
practical communication skills, an empathetic approach, and good
people skills.Stage 3: Roll out Smart Plant to other
operations.While Stages 1 and 2 are underway, work with the BPOs
(Business Process Owners) & IT/Digital teams to define a Smart
Plant roll-out strategy. The US Lead will also develop a list of
prerequisites for successfully implementing the Smart Plant and
liaise with future Smart Plant candidates to prepare them and
ensure their timely completion. It'll also be required to perform
gap-fit analysis across sites to derive a global view.Besides, the
US lead will take over the responsibilities of the Business Process
Lead forum, following up with requests submitted by the Business
and ensuring they fit within the long-term plan for our
operations.QUALIFICATIONBachelor's degree is required, a master's
Preferred.4-5 years of professional experience (Min 2 yrs. in
managing Complex Digital Projects)Fluent in English (Written &
Verbal); the more languages you speak, the better.Ambitious,
hardworking, reliable, and creative.Ready to travel regularly - up
to 50%Lead by learning fast and adding value to the team
daily.Proactively solve problems and issues.Communicate effectively
with the team, on-site and executive managers who want to see how
this improves our Business and the delivery team through multiple
channels.Drives a data-driven approach to decision-making.Able to
define and prioritize product features; bridge the inherent
conflicts between design aspiration and system ability in a
thoughtful but rapid way.Demonstrated ability to lead
cross-functional delivery teams.Knowledge of operations &
maintenance systems in the Process and/or manufacturing industries
is preferable.Must be capable of liaising between the Operations
and IT/Digital Team, translating requirements, needs, and requests
