Senior Knowledge Technology Analysts strategically implement and maintain databases and legal technology platforms for the Knowledge department, including data analysis and optimization. Senior Analysts collaborate with management, vendors, consultants, and IT to resolve issues and ensure the tools are functioning optimally. They are responsible for maintaining detailed and accurate documentation; providing user support and training; and, serving as the primary project manager and technical lead on upgrades and other system changes. -

This position is remote. However, candidates may be required on occasion to visit the local office when/if needed. Candidates must reside in a state where there is, and within driving distance of, a DLA Piper office.

  • BA or BS degree
  • 5 years of experience in technical support, working with both end users at all levels (including senior management) and vendors/contractors to resolve issues
  • 3 years of experience overseeing complex databases
  • Experience with normalization and standardization of data
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Must be creative, flexible, capable of solving complex problems, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger diverse team
    Preferred Requirements:
    • 5 years or more experience with advanced skills in data formatting, modeling, visualization, and analysis in Power BI, ideally with Microsoft certification
    • Understanding of Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, SQL, XML, JSON and REST APIs
    • Experience in a technical role at a law firm or legal software company -
      What will your day look like?
      In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting numerous reports and dashboards in Power BI. This includes connecting and transforming various data sources, building clear and compelling visualizations, and leveraging tools like Power Automate to automate certain tasks and optimize performance. The responsibilities for this role include troubleshooting user issues, training users across all professional levels (from legal secretary to partner; from 1-on-1 calls to large group presentations) on the platform, project managing upgrades and system enhancements, and working with vendor support to fix any system issues. Responsibilities also include collaborating with your own and other departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. -
