Shipping and Receiving: - Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices - Inspect, count, and record received items - Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping instructions - Coordinate with carriers and schedule pick-ups or deliveries - Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records2. FIFO (First-In, First-Out) Management: - Implement and enforce FIFO system for inventory rotation - Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent spoilage or expiration - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to replenish stock as needed - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with FIFO procedures3. Lot Tracking: - Utilize lot tracking systems to accurately identify and trace materials throughout the supply chain - Record lot numbers and expiration dates for incoming and outgoing materials - Collaborate with quality control team to ensure timely disposition of expired or damaged materials4. Inventory Control and Management: - Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems - Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies - Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering process to prevent stockouts or excess inventory - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs5. Food Manufacturing Experience: - Demonstrate knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene standards when handling food products - Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) principles - Comply with all relevant food safety certifications and regulationsQualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving or related field
  • Proficient in using computerized inventory management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and tracking inventory
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
  • Knowledge of FIFO principles and experience implementing FIFO systems
  • Familiarity with lot tracking systems and processes
