brighter way forward. - -Key Responsibilities:Vulnerability
Analysis: Conduct regular vulnerability scans and analyses to
identify weaknesses in software applications, hardware systems,
networks, and other digital assets.Risk Analysis: Evaluate
potential risks associated with identified vulnerabilities and
prioritize them based on the severity and potential impact on the
organization.Threat Monitoring: Monitor emerging cybersecurity
threats, staying up to date with the latest vulnerabilities and
attack strategies. Individually able to analyze vulnerabilities for
technical complexityPatch Management Consultation: Coordinate and
continuously interface with the application and infrastructure
teams for review, inquiry and assessment regarding security patches
and updates for software and hardware systems in a timely
manner.Remediation Recommendations: Collaborate with relevant
stakeholders to develop effective remediation plans and recommend
strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.Security
Standards: Ensure compliance with industry best practices, legal
regulations, and internal security policies by conducting audits
and providing guidance on information security protocols.Incident
Response: Support incident response efforts by investigating and
analyzing security breaches and providing guidance on recovery and
prevention strategies.Documentation and Reporting: Prepare
comprehensive analysis, including vulnerability review, risk
analyses, and remediation recommendations, and effectively
communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders and leadership
when required in a technical supporting.Required Skills and
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications
(e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) are highly desirable.Experience: Proven
experience in vulnerability assessment, threat analysis, and risk
management within an information security role. Preferred if there
was a background with cloud engineering or operations.Technical
Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI,
etc.), network protocols, operating systems, web applications,
databases, and associated security vulnerabilities. Knowledge of
cloud, ethical hacking and/or penetration testing techniques is a
plus.Analytical Skills: Ability to effectively identify, analyze,
and prioritize vulnerabilities and risks.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate
complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to
ensure accurate analysis and reporting of technical and business
impact from vulnerabilities.Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong
problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and
recommend appropriate solutions to address vulnerabilities and
risks.Teamwork: Ability to collaborate and coordinate with
cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, legal, and
compliance.Ethical Conduct: Demonstrated integrity and adherence to
ethical standards in dealing with sensitive information and
vulnerabilities.Estimated total compensation ran for this position
is:140,000.00 - 165,000.00 USD per yearThe pay range listed is a
total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The
