The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer have an immediate opening for a sales account executive to join its growing team. We are seeking a highly motivated, independent self-starter, who can build relationships with clients and customers. As a member of our sales team, you are the front line to our customers (law firms, related organizations and vendors) and will help build relationships with them and potential new customers. This will include developing marketing strategies that combine print, digital and events from our growing product line that includes legal periodicals, special supplements, events, mobile sites and directories. You will be expected to handle inside and outside sales calls and appointments, including lead generation and prospecting for current accounts and to grow new accounts. Attendance at client functions and events is also required. The position reports to the advertising team leader and as sales account executive, you are responsible for all sales activities from lead generation to close. Requirements:

• 2-3 years of print and online sales experience with a B2B publication or media company.
• Experience handling classified advertising and directory advertising a plus.
• A college degree or equivalent experience in advertising, marketing or mass communications.
• Experience planning, communicating, organizing, and developing customer relationships.
• Experience planning and organizing client-related events.
