The CompanyWe are a high-growth, SaaS solution provider serving the B2B retail and grocery market. -Our customers are among the industry's largest and most respected retailers and wholesalers, and their suppliers. -Our solutions are industry-leading, and we have relationships that span more than 15 years. -We are currently looking for a senior sales executive to drive expansion in existing accounts and secure new accounts.Position: - -VP of Sales/PartnerThis role requires experience selling in the retail supply chain, with specific knowledge of DSD products and operations, and/or management experience within a grocery, mass merch or drug retailer operation. Only candidates with relevant industry experience will be considered.The role of Sales Partner is a VP level role reporting to the CEO, responsible for generating revenue growth from upselling/cross-selling into large, existing retail accounts as well as prospecting and securing business from an assigned account list. -The Partner role has no direct reports but works with peers and an account management team in a matrixed structure in support of revenue growth. -Salary: -Competitive with industry normsTravel: -10-15%Location: US, home basedJob Description:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with senior execs in customer organizations, in support or account health and expansion.
  • Service as a subject matter expert for accounts and prospects, to lead and teach them about the need for our solutions
  • Develop account level growth strategies and execute them effectively
  • Identify and develop customer needs via conversations and presentations, and position our solutions as critical to customer success
  • Work with account managers to identify and pursue expansion opportunities
  • Lead negotiations that result in profitable contracts and growth
  • Develop detailed proposals and quotes
  • Work with the CEO to optimize a systematic approach to sales successKnowledge:
    • Education: -Bachelor's Degree
    • Knowledge of Retailer Operations
    • Understanding of Ordering and Replenishment desirable
    • Experience in Food Safety a plus
    • Knowledge of DSD to retail a plus
    • Knowledge of Bakery, Dairy or Beverage supply chain desirable -Skills:
      • Highly organized and efficient
      • Excellent verbal communication skills
      • Strong active listening skills
      • Shows consistent professionalism and good judgment
      • Methodical and process-oriented
      • Strong negotiating skillsExperience:Required Experience. Please do not apply unless you have 8-10 years' experience in solution selling to retail, or management experience in grocery, drug or mass merch retailer.
