Together, we won't stop!The Director, SMB Sales (Small & Medium Business Sales) is responsible for ensuring the SMB Sales Managers and their respective sales teams meet and exceed all sales, operational, and performance objectives by motivating, developing, coaching and driving sales activity. The Director is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and supervising the Business Sales Managers and maintaining appropriate staffing levels to achieve balance between gross activation, CPGA & sales productivity goals.Other duties include developing & implementing recognition programs, conducting sales meetings, managing compensation programs, and other projects as directed by management. The Director willfocus on sales strategies; including key initiatives of driving profitability and growing the Small / Mid-Market account base of customers with up to 1,000 employees. This leader will uphold strategic partnerships & implement tactical working relationships with other channels & business partners & to exceed company objectives.Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead a team of -150 sales professionals selling wireless data, voice services, and 3rd party solutions to small & medium-sized businesses.
  • Lead SMB in attaining channel Sales, CPGA/SAC, ARPU, Churn and new logo/productivity objectives.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with high-level buying influences in key customer accounts, 3rd party solution providers, and OEM's.
  • Ability to build tactical working relationships across diverse channels of distribution.
  • Ability to work internal partnerships to maximize performance for the greater good of the organization; balancing what is most effective for the customer vs personal gains.
  • Strong networking skills and track record of success in leveraging connections.
  • Through effective communication skills this leader will encourage professional development through coaching, feedback, and mentoring. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and hold team members accountable; appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to champion new initiatives, and to implement strategic SMB strategiesQualifications:
    • Dynamic communicator who can inspire teams across broad geographic areas.
    • 5 + years of field business to business outside sales management experience leading multiple teams of field sales professionals and managing managers and selling clients to the clients with 500-999 employees.
    • Experience in partnering closely with retail sales environments to further SMB sales development to achieve company goals.
    • 10+ years of business to business field sales experience.
    • Proven track record of success and over-achievement.
    • Outstanding leadership skills; a strategic business leader able to align with company's culture and values.
    • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
    • A mature, confident professional who motivates others by goal setting, creating a team atmosphere and leading by example.
    • Strong ability to lead and guide decision making in business solutions.
    • Demonstrated high ethical behavior, unquestionable integrity and character.
    • Strong level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
    • Wireless or Telecom experience is preferred.
    • BA in related field.
