Notified is adding a Sales Operations Analyst to our Global Sales Organization! The work location is a hybrid schedule in our Chicago office. The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for reporting and analyzing data related to sales performance, commissions attainment, and other key sales indicators; work with management to determine the requirements for reporting; develop reports utilizing database reporting tools, working to standardize input and output fields across different databases or data sources; interpret database models and data relationships for end users to define requested reports; define and drive processes for maintaining data quality metrics; validate existing sales processes and procedures to ensure integrity and client satisfaction; identify opportunities for increased profitability or efficiency within the business, recommending improvements to management; review sales data to ensure that commissions being paid are accurate based on sales figures.

MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Sales Analysis Functions - Report and analyze data related to sales performance, commissions and other key sales indicators while ensuring adherence to established corporate and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Work with management to determine the requirements for reporting (e.g., timeframes, upcoming sales, sales trends, historic performance, etc.)
  • Develop reports utilizing database reporting tools, working to standardize input and output fields across different databases or data sources
  • Interpret database models and data relationships for end users to define requested reports
  • Define and drive processes for maintaining data quality metrics
  • Validate existing sales processes and procedures to ensure integrity and client satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for increased profitability or efficiency within the business, recommending improvements to management
  • Review sales data to ensure that commissions being paid are accurate based on sales figures
  • As needed perform strategic data analysis and research to support business needs by identifying trends and data patterns to utilize for departmental and operational improvements
  • Assist in activities related to Sales Training Problem Resolution - Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to area of responsibility.
    • Respond with a sense of urgency to problems escalated to employee's level
    • Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided
    • Place the highest priority on providing quality customer service by managing activities of staff, ensuring the unique needs of customers are met
    • Ensure quality resolution and thorough and accurate documentation of customer issues
    • Provide analysis and feedback to management staff and appropriate departments regarding recurring problems, recommending improvements aimed at reducing future occurrences of problems
    • Participate in creating, administering, and continuously updating procedures for resolution of all related issues Project Management - Provide leadership and direction on all assigned projects ensuring follow through from beginning to end of project management life cycle.
      • Establish standards and strategy for each project
      • Identify task force members and assign specific tasks and responsibilities
      • Continuously monitor tasks and project assignments; identify and resolve problem
      • Develop final report with findings and recommendations for management Team Interfaces/Customer Service - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members and department contacts.
        • Cooperate with team members to meet goals or complete tasks
        • Provide quality customer service that exceeds customer expectations and improves level of service being provided
        • Treat all internal/external customers, team members and department contacts with dignity/respect
        • Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided Mental and Physical Requirements
          • This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work near or around computers, telephones, and printers
          • The nature of the work in this position is sedentary and the incumbent will be sitting most of the time
          • Essential physical functions of the job include typing, grasping, pulling hand over hand, and repetitive motions to utilize general computer software/hardware continuously throughout the work day
          • Essential mental functions of this position include concentrating on tasks, reading information, and verbal/written communication to others continuously throughout the work day Related Duties as Assigned

              Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.

              Education
              • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, finance, or MIS required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements Experience
                • Minimum three years increasingly responsible operations analysis, business intelligence development or sales experience at the regional manager level experience required. Technical
                  • Minimum two years' experience with database reporting tools (e.g.,Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) required. Working knowledge of Salesloft or ZoomInfo preferred. Other
