Role Overview The Strategic Business Development Manager serves as the driving force behind WovenWorkss growth initiatives. This individual is tasked with proactively opening doors and cultivating new opportunities for the agency. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Strategic Business Development Manager acts as a dedicated hunter, focusing on securing net new accounts, generating top-of-funnel activity, and supporting the early stages of the sales pipeline in line with the agencys 2026 sales strategy. In this role, the Strategic Business Development Manager will work in close collaboration with the Global Strategy Directors, maintaining a primary emphasis on acquiring net new accounts. The position is ideally suited for someone who exhibits a hunter mentalityproactive, persistent, and possessing a curious sales mindset. The successful candidate will be adept at identifying new opportunities, building initial relationships, and maintaining consistent momentum with prospective clients. The overarching focus of this role is to drive net new growth, generate top-of-funnel activity, and initiate relationships with brands that WovenWorks aspires to partner with. Key Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and engage new(60)targetaccounts through outbound outreach (both cold and dormant contacts), networking, and marketing-generated leads Secure first meetings and build a strong, consistent early-stage pipeline Sparkinitialrelationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across priority net new and dormant accounts Maintainaccurate,timely CRM records in HubSpot to ensure visibility and momentum across the pipeline Track pipeline activity, forecast performance, and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Contribute to predictable revenue growth by consistently expanding the top of the funnel. Partner closely with marketing and senior strategy leaders to align outreach with agency priorities KPIs & Performance Expectations: Meetings Secured Per Quarter Q1 Goal (Ramp-Up):20 net newmeetings Q2 Goal:30net newmeetings per quarter (Average: 10 new business meetings per month) Pipeline & Activity Metrics Early-stage pipeline growth:Number of qualifiednet newopportunities opened Tracker accuracy:100%timelyCRM updates and activity logging Conversion:Rate at which first meetings convert into follow-up conversations Forecast contribution: Demonstrateimpact on top-of-funnel expansion Ideal Candidate Profile 2-4years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within professional services, consulting, or B2B industries Hunter mindset,proactive, persistent, self-driven, and energized by generating new opportunities A natural connector withstrong communicationand relationship-building skill Comfortable researching, prioritizing, and pursuing high-value target account CRM experiencerequired; HubSpot preferred Curious, energetic, and motivated by ambitious growth goals HowYoullGrow (Career Path) This role is intentionally designed as alaunchpad Phase 1 Net-New Hunter:Focus on opening doors, generating meetings, and creating early-stage opportunitie Phase 2 Account Growth & Relationship Building:Once accounts are secured,youllbegin growing those relationships, expanding your footprint, and partnering more deeply with client Phase 3 Strategic Partner:Over time,youllevolve into a trusted advisor shaping conversations, influencing growth strategy, and owning a portfolio of meaningful client relationship As the agency grows, so does this role,with clear pathways intosenior strategy, business development, or account leadershippositions Compensation & Benefits Compensation Base Compensation: TBDbased on experience and qualifications Commission Plan:TBD (role will include performance-based commission aligned to new business meetings and pipeline creation) Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match AD&D and Life Insurance Generous PTO Paid holidays and floating holidays Remote work flexibility Professional development opportunities Supportive, collaborative team environment
