Elkay has recently acquired a progressive and innovative company that produces water dispensing flavored products. Our Outside Sales Rep will be responsible for leasing Elkay water dispensing products directly to targeted end users, and generating recurring revenue streams through ongoing sales and service programs, in line with budgeted revenue and profitability targets. Specific duties include:

  • Achieve annual budgeted revenue and profitability targets though successful implementation of sales and service strategies and tactics.
  • Work with National Accounts Manager to develop KPI, and measure results quarterly.
  • Develop consultative relationships with customers, decision makers and influencers, to foster long-term sales and service contracts.
  • Network effectively to continue developing prospects for new installations.
  • Develop skills necessary to assist in product installation, customer training/orientation, and ongoing customer care.
  • Attend national and regional trade shows to build brand awareness and acquire market and customer intelligence. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or related area required.
    • 2+ years of outside sales business to business experience
    • Ability to travel within the assigned Chicago metro area.
    • Demonstrated track record of strong sales results through work experience and/or internships.
    • Passion for green initiatives (reducing plastic waste) and access to healthy drink options is a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with customers.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills mandatory.
    • Strong teaming/collaboration skills essential. Excellent listener.
    • Ability to develop complete understanding of product line in order to train others on our products.
    • Self-starter and able to work with little supervision. Self-motivated.
    • Able to focus effort on current strategic initiatives while simultaneously identifying and prioritizing future opportunities.
    • Experience using Sales Force a plus. EOE/M/F/D/V/SO
