Analyst is responsible for producing and analyzing non-financial
data related to Adtalem’s higher education institutions and other
business units. This includes, but is not limited to, student
enrollments, demographics, financial aid, account activity,
graduation, and post-graduate outcomes. The Senior Analyst prepares
data required by accreditors, states, the federal government, and
other regulators. Fulfill institutions’ regulatory reporting
obligations by reviewing requirements, writing reports and queries,
conducting QA testing, and submitting data in an accurate and
timely fashion. Provide scheduled reports and ad hoc analytics to
inform the organization of key metrics, trends, and industry
comparisons. Develop deep understanding of business and system
processes underlying data across multiple business groups. Serve as
primary data provider to teams within Regulatory Affairs. Support
the Government Relations and Communications teams in efforts to
tell our institutions’ stories in a compelling way, while being
accurate and compliant. Partner with IT to leverage new analytics
platforms and reporting tools, with an eye toward improving
automation, data sharing, and procedure documentation. Review data
prepared by other colleagues for external release, ensuring
accuracy, fair representation, and compliance with regulations and
organizational standards. Participate in large data projects,
building complex databases, integrating disparate data sources, or
utilizing new applications. Track industry news, public policy
reports, proposed regulations, or legislation that could impact the
organization, and proactively provide data-driven insights.
Identify and implement improvements to reporting procedures and
customer service. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Five (5) plus years of experience in
data analytics, data reporting, data science, programming, market
research, or closely related field. Proficiency with Microsoft
Excel, plus intermediate or advance skills in one or more of the
following: SQL, Google BigQuery, MS PowerBI, R, SPSS, SAS, MS
Access, Cognos, Informatica, Snowflake, Tableau, or similar
applications. Must have excellent critical thinking, analytical,
and project management skills. Must be able to problem-solve, work
independently, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills required, with
ability to present complex information in a straightforward way
that others can understand. Experience in the higher education
space or in external reporting is preferred but not required.
Additional Information In support of the pay transparency laws
enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this
position is between $53,520.9 and $96,736.53. Actual pay will be
adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as
experience and training; geographic location; licensure and
certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and
