Job Description Job Description Our internal medicine practice is in need of a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our staff. The successful candidate will love working with adults and have extensive experience successfully communicating with others. We’re looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring parents and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of his or her patients. Responsibilities included, but not limited to: Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to patients Communicate with physicians, staff and other medical professionals Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients, and their care team members or guardians, as needed Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Valid nursing license. 5 years nursing experience Epic EMR experience, preferred Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed Excellent bedside manner and communication skills Ability to explain treatments and conditions to patients of all ages Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
