Job Description:

At Action Behavior Centers, we are dedicated to providing exceptional therapy services to children on the autism spectrum. We seek a compassionate and professional Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. This role involves implementing behavioral plans developed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to improve communication, social skills, and appropriate behaviors in young children diagnosed with autism. As an RBT, you will work directly with these children in one-on-one or group settings, meticulously documenting progress and adjusting interventions as needed under the supervision of a BCBA. Implement behavioral intervention plans under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Collect data on patients' progress and communicate this to the supervising BCBA Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children to teach communication, social, and functional life skills Maintain confidential patient records and progress reports Engage parents and caregivers about strategies to use outside of therapy sessions Prepare learning materials and environments for effective therapy delivery Strong understanding of behavioral principles and techniques Excellent observational and analytical skills Ability to engage children and maintain their interest in learning activities Effective communication skills to interact with parents, caregivers, and colleagues Competence in maintaining accurate and timely documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board CPR and First Aid certification desirable
