Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a full-time school social worker to support K-12
students, primarily middle and high school aged, at a residential
facility serving male youth impacted by sexual violence. This
position requires onsite presence in Clinton Township, MI, focusing
on providing compassionate and expert social work services in a
structured educational environment. Responsibilities include: -
Delivering individual and group counseling to address trauma and
behavioral needs. - Collaborating with educational staff and
residential personnel to develop and implement treatment plans. -
Advocating for student welfare and connecting families with
community resources. - Maintaining accurate case documentation and
participating in supervisory sessions. - Ensuring compliance with
state licensing and facility regulations. Preferred qualifications:
- Licensed Social Worker in Michigan with a valid MI license
(license verification required). - Experience working with male
youth in residential or therapeutic educational settings. -
Familiarity with trauma-informed care, especially relating to
victims and offenders of sexual violence. - Strong communication
and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work onsite full-time, with
no virtual work arrangements for this caseload. - Male or female
candidates with similar experience preferred to meet client needs.
This contract role offers 35 hours per week and a dynamic work
environment dedicated to positive youth development and recovery.
Supervision will be provided by the district to support
